Tina E. Chrzastowski is Professor Emerita, formerly Chemistry Librarian and Professor of Library Administration, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Prior to UIUC, she held academic library positions at the University of Delaware and the University of Washington. Her research focuses on collection use and assessment, including longitudinal use studies, user surveys, and musings about transitions taking place in libraries due to electronic journal and ebook access. Recent work includes an assessment guidebook for beginning librarians, an introduction to SFX statistical reporting for collection managers, an assessment of approval plans and most recently, a longitudinal study of ebook cost and use. She is currently a member of the IMLS-funded LibValue Management Team (www.libvalue.org) at UIUC; ongoing research under this grant focuses on ebook use in the humanities and social sciences.
