Alexandra de Lange is the Head of Third-Party Platforms in Elsevier. In this role she is responsible for strategy and policy development as well as product- and partnership management related to discoverability of content published on ScienceDirect. ScienceDirect is Elsevier’s full-text platform where researchers can read and interact with content from over 2,500 journals and 26,000 e-books. Recent developments in the area of discoverability include the launch of a state-of-the-art API through which ScienceDirect customers can enable automatic exchange and updates of their holdings information with trusted third-parties, such as knowledge bases.
Alexandra has been with Elsevier since 2008. Prior to joining Elsevier she worked in various marketing and sales management functions in the Life Sciences industry.
